Rohini Johnson Boez specializes in in the field of Intellectual Property Rights. She handles Litigation, Arbitration, Enforcement and Prosecution matters. Having started her career as a Legal Associate at De PENNING & DePENNING, she rose to head their Trade Mark and Copyright Department at their Mumbai set up. She then moved to the corporate world to set up and run the anti-piracy operations in India and the other countries in the SAARC Region for Autodesk India Pvt. Ltd. In her capacity as Legal Affairs Manager at Autodesk India Pvt. Ltd. she worked with the Business Software Alliance towards curbing software piracy. After having run a successful anti-piracy operation for over eight years in the software industry, she moved to The Walt Disney ( India) Pvt. Ltd. to operate the anti-piracy operations for the SAARC Region South East Asia, South Korea and Japan. In addition, she also handled IP litigation matters pertaining to Studio Piracy at Disney.She is currently a Partner with Boazz Law chambers handling Enforcement matters, IP Litigation , Prosecution matters and Arbitration matters.As a certified Mediator, she is empaneled as a Mediator with the Hon’ble High Court of Bombay.
